นายกฯ ส่งสารแสดงความเสียใจถึงผู้นำจีน เหตุเรือล่มภูเก็ต

วันนี้ (9 ก.ค.61) กระทรวงการต่างประเทศ เผยแพร่ข้อความสารแสดงความเสียใจกรณีเกิดเหตุการณ์เรือท่องเที่ยวล่มกลางทะเลที่ จ.ภูเก็ต โดยมีผู้ประสบภัยส่วนใหญ่เป็นนักท่องเที่ยวชาวจีน เมื่อวันที่ 5 ก.ค.61 นั้น

พล.อ.ประยุทธ์ จันทร์โอชา นายกรัฐมนตรี ได้มีข้อความสารแสดงความเสียใจถึงนายสี จิ้นผิง ประธานาธิบดีสาธารณรัฐประชาชนจีน และนายดอน ปรมัตถ์วินัย รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ ได้มีข้อความสารแสดงความเสียใจถึงนายหวัง อี้ มนตรีแห่งรัฐและรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศสาธารณรัฐประชาชนจีน โดยมีรายละเอียด ดังนี้

Excellency,

On behalf of the Royal Thai Government and the people of Thailand, I would like to express our most profound sadness for the capsizing of tourist boats off Phuket Island in the southern part of Thailand on the evening of 5 July 2018 which caused many casualties, most of whom are Chinese.

I wish to convey my deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathy to Your Excellency and, through you, to the bereaved families of the deceased and those injured from this tragedy. I also wish to assure you that the Royal Thai Government and all relevant departments and authorities in Thailand attach utmost importance to addressing this incident. Emergency assistance and all appropriate arrangements have promptly been provided to those affected. A search and rescue command center was immediately set up, and search and rescue efforts teams have been actively mobilized. Full investigation into the accident has been undertaken.

Let me reiterate that we will continue our utmost efforts to search for those still missing and render necessary assistance and support to all those affected persons and families. We will cooperate and coordinate closely with the Chinese side.

Please also rest assured of the Royal Thai Government’s determination to do utmost to prevent recurrence of similar incident involving any tourists and visitors in the future.

Excellency,

I am deeply saddened by the tragic loss of lives and injuries of Chinese tourists in the incident involving the capsizing of tourist boats off the coast of Phuket Island in the southern part of Thailand on the evening of 5 July 2018. I wish to convey my deepest sorrow and sincere condolences to you and, through you, to the bereaved families and friends of those affected.

In this connection, I wish to reaffirm the Royal Thai Government’s commitment and utmost efforts to provide all possible assistance in the search and rescue for those who are still missing, and to provide necessary support to those survivors from this tragic event. On our part, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand is closely coordinating with all authorities concerned to accord facilitation in any way we can to Chinese friends and families who have been affected in this time of sorrow.
